2 grand seems to be the fair market value for most SHO’s of this gen in average condition. I guess it’s just that the sho is just not different enough, aside from the engine of course, from a regular taurus that they don’t sell for that much.

I just can't find decent SHO's like that around me for so cheap, so I guess that's why I'm surprised. They are definitely more inconspicuous compared to a lot of performance-oriented cars, so it does make sense that they are somewhat overlooked.
